Marhaba, hoi, hello, moi! My name is Eugenie (they/she), a joyful and justice-oriented artist, activist and advocate, currently based in Helsinki, Finland. Welcome to my website!

At the moment my artistic practice focuses on poetry, spoken word, and otherwise text meant for an live audience. My search is for words that allow people to find comfort, feel less alone, and have insight in my experience. And words that spur people into action for a Free Palestine. You can find me either reading poetry at a festival, or on a stage speaking to crowds at protests.

As an advocate I strive to make closed doors wide enough for everyone to go through. I currently serve on the Board of the National Union of University students in Finland. Sectors I am responsible for are international students, EU advocacy, European Students Union, and EU elections. I am the very first international student ever to be elected to this position.
